Under American Racist Carpet

Freddie Gray’s death, for not justified reason on April 19th, leaves many unanswered questions.

But it is clear that after Gray´s arrest in West Baltimore on the morning of April 12th, he was struggling to walk. By the time he arrived at the police station a half hour later, he was incapable to breathe or say a word, suffering from wounds that would kill him.

After the people mobility at the murder of Trayvon Martin in 2013 started to cause racial tension between the American civilians. After that, 10 more people supposedly have died in the last nine months under the control of the American police. These deaths have resurface the racial problem in the world. The death of Michael Brown, an African American who was shot dead by agent Darren Wilson, detonated a crisis under the great American carpet that reminds of the clashes in the 60`s.

The incident triggered a bunch of demonstrations in Ferguson, Brown´s city. Feeding the racial crisis in the streets and forcing the governor of Missouri to declare a state of emergency. Far from calm down, ten days later, another African citizen died in Saint Louis. Shot by another cop in the state of Missouri.

On November 25th of that same year Darren Wilson goes unpunished for the murder of Michael Brown what stirs society and distributes discomfort Ferguson 170 other cities. Bridges, roads and other violence between two policemen are shot and killed in New York are cut.

Yesterday night when the Freddy Gray family’s where celebrating his funeral at the New Shiloh, Baltimore church. During this celebration a group of people start’s the violence, throwing heaved bottles and rocks at riot-gear-clad police, set police cars on fire, and looted a pharmacy, a mall and other businesses.

After this riot at least 15 officers were injured and also a bunch of rioters where on detention.  Because of this situation a five thousand’s polices officers where distributed in the hall city and the principal buildings has closed the conflict area for they’re security.

Governor of Maryland, Larry Hogan, who visited injured officers and damaged neighborhoods, said that while the city was under control, officials were concerned about what tonight might bring. “It’s not going to happen again,” Mr. Hogan said of the violence.
